your child. All you need to provide is the kids!

We are planning to again host a kids fishing clinic this year on Lake Washington
in June. We will post the dates in the near future. We need more
volunteers from our chapter members this year, please help out!. To help

We had a great time hosting the Kids
Fishing Clinic at Biringer farms again this year. The weather was a bit
cold on Sunday but the fishing was hot.This
year the WDFW delivered 2000 trout to our small pond, the waters were stacked
with fish. There was a lot of excitement from both the kids and the
parents, and there were many happy faces. It seemed like everyone had a
good time, only a few kids got their feet wet. Thanks everyone for coming,
we are going to have another year at Biringer farms pond in 2008.

Our Traditional Kid's Fish-In is held at Tracy Owen Station on Lake
Washington on the Saturday coinciding with Washington States free fishing weekend.
The Club will provide both fish and fishing
tackle for this event as well as food and prizes for the children, so it is a great time to introduce a child to fishing.

Lake Washington 2007
The 2007 Kids Fishing Clinic on Lake Washington was another great
Northshore TU event, we had more kids this year than we can ever remember.
Special thanks to Larry Holly who organized the clinic and everyone else that
helped to pull off another great Kids fishing Clinic. Thanks also to WDFW
for the nice fish that were brought down from the Puyallup Hatchery. The
weather was great and fishing was good, there were a lot of big brood stock
trout pulled out of our net pen area, and lots of smiles all around. Thanks also
to everyone that donated to the chapter at this event, we appreciate your
support.

2006
We had another great day this
year (2006) hosting the kids fish-in on lake Washington. The weather was
perfect and the fish were biting very well. We had at least 250 kids come,
one of our best turn outs ever. Several kids hooked the big brood stock
trout in the fish pen, and one small girl landed a beautiful 4 pound rainbow.
Special thanks to Larry Holley for again taking the lead to organize the event.

We will provide all the fishing gear the kids will need and bait. The
children can be assisted by the parents and TU volunteers, but lets remember
that this is for the kids fishing experience.

in Everett WA. The weather was great this year and so were the kids.
There were a lot of bent rods and happy faces. Here are a few of the pics
