January:

5 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. This month's speaker is author Bill Herzog noted guide, author and spoon fisherman who will provide an entertaining and enlightening slide show. Start 1999 off on the right foot and learn some new techniques.
12 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.
15 - 17 NWSSC TU Washington Winter Council meeting in Tumwater WA.
29 - 31 Northshore Club outing to the Sol Duc River for Steelheading. Please contact Andy T for details.

February:

2 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. This month's speaker is guide Bob Ball of Piscatorial Pursuits on the Olympic Peninsula! You have been checking his web site, now hear him in person.
9 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

March:

2 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell . This month features author Jack Berryman (those paying close attention will note this is Northshore Chapter's current president...) who will present a slide show featuring two great Alaska fishing options - Sitka salt water and the Alaganak River. Come on out to see great scenery and learn about two fantastic fisheries!
9 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

20 - 9:00 a.m. Work party at Barr Creek to prepare for Steelhead arrival. Please call Steve Winder for details.

April-May: Fish Feeding at Barr Creek imprinting ponds. Volunteers needed.

April:

6 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. Our guest speaker this meeting will be Jim Lamont who will give us the scoop on salmon fishing on Vancouver Island on the cheap. Turn on out to learn how and where to fish this tremendous Salmon resource.

13 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

 24/25 - Northshore Club outing to the Skagit/Sauk Rivers. Join us for some catch and release Steelhead fishing, camping, and a potluck dinner. Please come to the April meeting for more details.

May:

4 - 7:00 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. This is our annual awards banquet and potluck dinner. Bring the family and some food to share. Fun for all. NOTE: Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
11 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

June:

1 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. June's speakers will be Penny Falknor and Biologist Barry Olson from the US Forest Service who will be providing details on the two cooperative projects that we will be working on this Summer. Please come on out and learn how the US Forest Service and Northshore Chapter are working together to improve fish habitat.
5 - 7:00 a.m. Annual Kids Fish-in at Tracy-Owens Station in Kenmore on Lake Washington. Bring out the Kid's and we will provide fishing equipment, fish, food, and more! In addition we always need more people to help the kid catch fish, so come on out and lend a hand!
8 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.
19/20 - Annual Kids Fish-in at Biringer Farms in Everett. This is the Chapters other Kids-fish-in and is held at a pond at Biringer Farms. For this outing Northshore will provide equipment and fish. Again, bring out the Kids and yourselves as these fish-ins are a lot of fun for the kids and the helpers! Please contact Steve Winder for more information on volunteering.

21/22 - Annual Northshore trip to the Columbia River. Please contact Larry Holly for details.

September:

7 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. September's meeting will feature noted Seattle Times "Fish" reporter Ross Anderson who will give a report on current fish politics.

11/12 - Troublesome Creek (a Skykomish Tributary) Restoration Work: Northshore Chapter will have a multiple weekend (also 25-26) work party to help restore Troublesome Creek. This is a joint project with the Boy Scouts of America and the US Forest Service and will require 15+ people a day for two weekends (4 days.) Let's get out there and get our feet wet!

14 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

25 - Troublesome Creek (a Skykomish River Tributary) Restoration Work Part II: Northshore Chapter will have a multiple weekend (also 11-12) work party to help restore Troublesome Creek. This is a joint project with the Boy Scouts of America and the US Forest Service and will require 15+ people a day over two weekends (3 days.) Let's get out there and get our feet wet!

5 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. October's meeting will feature Mid-Sound Salt Water Guide Keith Robbins from "A Spot Tail Charters." Keith will fill us in on the various salt water fishing options open to mid-Sound fishermen.

12 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

November:

2 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. November's meeting will feature Northwest Fisheries expert and author Dave Vedder who fill us in on the fishing opportunities in BC's Vedder River. Located just across the border the Vedder provides year-round opportunities. Come on out and hear and see a great presentation.

9 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.

14 - Club outing on the Skykomish River for Chum Salmon. Details at the November 2 General meeting.

7 - 7:30 p.m. General Meeting at the American Legion Hall in Bothell. December's meeting features Curtis Welch of Special Moments Guide Service. Curtis will speak on trout fishing on Lake Washington. Come on out and learn about this great resource located just outside our front door.

12 - Club outing on the Cowlitz River for Steelhead. Details at the December general meeting.

14 - 7:30 p.m. Board Meeting. Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at The Cottage Restaurant in Kenmore.
