Jason Anderson from The Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries
Enhancement Task Force
will make a presentation on Conservation Projects in the Snohomish and
Stillaguamish Basin's. Jason and the
Task force are a partner with our chapter in the work at Barr Creek, they are a
great asset to have to help guide us on the path to stream recovery. The
task force is a 501c3 non profit, their mission is to ensure the future of
salmon in the Stillaguamish and Snohomish River and Island County watersheds

We will again be meeting at the Lake Forest Park center. Our speaker
was Chris Tompkins speaking about fly fishing the Missouri river in Montana.
June 2, 2007 Kids Fishing Clinic
The chapter will treat kids ages 2-14 to a fishing experience at Tracy Owenn
Station in Kenmore WA. We will have hundreds of trout in the net pen
for the kids to catch. The event runs from 7am-12pm For more info

Speaker: Mark Taylor,
President of the Washington State Council of Trout Unlimited.
Mark will be talking about our State Council, and conservation projects
around the state. Also, if time permits, he will spend time on how to take rock
fish with a fly rod.
June 16-17, 2007
Kids Fish-In at Berringer Farms in
Marysville WA. The chapter will treat kids ages 2-14 to a fishing experience
at the farm pond. We will teaching casting for trout in the pond for the kids. The event runs from 9am-5pm each day. For more info
